Sorry I have been absent for so long from this little area of the web... I, after a long process that I will save for another post, have internet access that is suitable for blogging.... yahoo! Let's all thank "Tak" for his brilliant installation skills. So here goes...Jack, Grace, Mom and Dad:
Just wanna give a big "shout- out" to the Bartlett family: Mom, Dad, Jack and Grace- who have been supportive and encouraging in this whole journey when it hasn't been easy or pleasant sometimes. I miss you all so much! A new friend asked me over dinner tonight if I grew up in a Christian family, I said, Yes of course. Every time I tell people here that (as there are many who are first generation Christians) I am humbled to be a part of this family- God is too good too me through each of them! This picture was taken on the day that I left- we spent the morning at the perfect place- Big Blue Bagel in Auburn... oh how I miss that place, but we had a blast- laughing and visiting with some other friends that were there...
John and Biscuet. It was perfect that they were there as well. Biscuet will be back in Asia in a matter of hours from now whereas John has gotten really good at putting his best friends on planes to Asia... it's a dirty job, but someone's got to do it and he's a great one for the job. All this to say, you people are some of the most important ones in my life and I look forward to sharing life with you on this side of the world. Now here I am, a month and 18 days later, living on the other side of the world. Still it's unbelievable to me. I am still happy, and I am being stretched. More to come on that...
