I kind of touched on what the book is about in a previous post but the Lord has just connected himself to the truth... Girls, it is so glorifying to Him when you find rest in the fact that YES, you are lovely and YES you are so incredibly beautiful. That's who you are as a woman! He has created us in His image to reflect that beauty and that's what draws others to us and ultimately to HIM! Don't you want to be a vessel for him? Don't you wanna experience Him in a powerful way, so much so that it overflows in to the lives of those around you???
I have recently made a "career decision" which is kind of scary. I fully recognize that I am not locked into this but it's just been a process and still is taking this next step. I am anxious to see how he molds my heart for discipleship and for people to know Him intimately with my heart to serve people at their most vulnerable point. I am open to what the Lord wants and so anxious to see him affirm the path ahead of me.
Being beautiful is something so foreign to me... I know we all have tiny glimpses though of feeling beautiful throughout our lives when God intervenes and tells us that and writes it on our hearts but he worked me over this weekend.
BEAUTY IS NOT PHYSICAL!
It's true! And i have more than convinced myself that it is. Beauty is our essence. Beauty is what he created us to be: inviting, transcending and more. It exists in every layer of our being... Yes there are many who are pretty but God makes us beautiful to our core. He made us uniquely beautiful and begs us not to hide or mask who we are for the sake of His name and glory. It's kinda like the gospel for me: I had to hear it over and over and in many different ways:
Thank you Lord for bringing 'someone' along who sees what you see and trusted you to express these truths in a tangible way. Lord you are constantly reminding us of these truths. Show us all how you are pursuing our hearts and answering 'yes, you are so incredibly lovely and beautiful!'
God I pray you continue to write these truths on my heart. You have opened the door to work so just come in and sweep out the old ideas. Replace them with your ideas! I gladly receive them! Lord let's get close through this: Let's work through this together. Thank you for the VICTORY that awaits us. Thank you for what you are gonna do. AMEN
