If we are sons and daughters of God, and our families (blood or spiritual) are one of the many ways that He expands His kingdom, (therefore bringing blessing to people) can we claim these words as a promise to us? Sometimes He asks us to do hard things, yet He knows the outcome . I PRAY we will be a blessing to this place.
Now the Lord said to Abram, "Go from your country and your kindred and your father's house to the land that I will show you. And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed."
Genesis 12:1-3
We'll never know the impact that we have on the world, and the ripples of the Spirit's work in and through our lives are incalculable. Walking in faith, knowing the journey to the promised land is not always easy, He imparts a taste of the promise to us along the way. This is our reality as believers: His Kingdom come here on earth as it is in heaven.
Lord may we be a blessing to all we encounter- for your name and your renown or the desire of our souls! (Is 26:8)
